Send a text when you miss a call
When you can't answer, we send the caller one short text or WhatsApp so they don't ring someone else.
Before you start
- Twilio connected in Settings → Connect your accounts → Text messages.
- You're an owner or admin.
The steps at a glance
Step 1 of 5
In the menu on the left, tap Calls. On a phone, tap the ☰ menu button at the top first.
Under Phone line settings, turn on Business phone line. Tap Find my Twilio numbers, then Use this number.
Under Who answers, list Phones to ring, in order — one per line.
Under When nobody answers, turn on Text back missed calls. Choose Send by and write the Message.
Tap Save.
✅ How do I know it worked?
- Ring your number from another phone and don't answer. The call shows Texted back.
⚠️ Common mistakes
