Send text messages (SMS)
Send text messages from your own Twilio number. Every text includes “Reply STOP to opt out”.
Before you start
- A Twilio account with a UK mobile number (about £1 a month plus about 4p per text).
The steps at a glance
Step 1 of 4
Open Settings and tap Connect your accounts.
On the Text messages card (via Twilio), tap Connect.
Copy your Account SID and Auth token from the Twilio home page. Type Your Twilio number like +447700900123.
Tap Save securely. Type Your mobile and tap Send.
What the code looks like
Find it: console.twilio.com → Account InfoPaste it: Settings → Connect your accounts → Text messages → Account SID
Not this: SK… or PN… — those are API keys and phone number IDs. The box needs the SID that starts AC.
✅ How do I know it worked?
- Your phone gets the test text, and the card says Last test worked.
