My CSV import went wrong

Upload went wrong? Here's how to fix the usual problems.

  1. In the menu on the left, tap Uploads. On a phone, tap the ☰ menu button at the top first.

  2. Tap the upload and choose Problems.

  3. Fix the rows in your spreadsheet, save as CSV, and upload again. Existing people are merged, not doubled.

  4. At Match columns, check each column. Choose Don’t import for anything you don't need.

✅ How do I know it worked?

  • The new upload shows fewer With problems.

⚠️ Common mistakes

ProblemNames landed in the notes.FixThat column was set to Add to note (word for word). Set it to Full name.
ProblemPhone numbers lost their leading 0 in Excel.FixFormat the phone column as Text in Excel, or add +44.
Problem“Stopped part-way”.FixUpload the same file again — rows already imported are merged, not doubled.
