Keep staff private from each other
Stop staff seeing each other's names, chats and leads unless they work in the same team.
Before you start
- You're an owner or admin.
- Decide who works together (e.g. Leeds office, Colombo office).
The steps at a glance
Step 1 of 4
In the menu on the left, tap Settings. On a phone, tap the ☰ menu button at the top first.
Find the Private staff mode box and switch it on. It's off until you switch it on.
Under Teams, type a New team name and tap Create team. Then use Add someone…. People in no team work just with you.
Mark people everyone should see (like you, the owner, or reception) as Visible to everyone.
✅ How do I know it worked?
- A staff member's assignee lists, mentions and Team chat only show their own team (plus people visible to everyone).
