Add a lead by hand
Type in a new enquiry yourself, for example after a phone call or walk-in.
Before you start
- Have their name and at least a phone number or email.
The steps at a glance
Step 1 of 5
In the menu on the left, tap Leads. On a phone, tap the ☰ menu button at the top first.
Tap Add Lead at the top of the page.
Type First name, Last name, Email and Phone. Pick a Source and Priority.
Only tick They have agreed to receive marketing messages if they really said yes.
Tap Add lead.
✅ How do I know it worked?
- You see “Lead added to New Leads.” and the person appears in the first column of the pipeline.
⚠️ Common mistakes
ProblemYou get “This person enquired in the last 24 hours…”.FixThat's a duplicate. We added the new details to their existing lead instead of making a second one.
ProblemPhone typed as 07700 900123 but WhatsApp won't open.FixAdd the country code: +44 7700 900123.
