WhatsApp Safety stops Meta blocking your number: consent first, replies within 24 hours, safe daily limits, STOP always wins and quality checks.

The steps at a glance
Step 1 of 4
Tap Settings in the menu and scroll down to the WhatsApp safety box.
The owner reads the WhatsApp fair-use agreement and taps I agree.
Look at the Status light, Sent today and Quality. Green means all is well.
If sending is paused, read why and tap I understand. Replies inside 24 hours keep working.
Sending restarts once quality is back to normal.
✅ How do I know it worked?
- The light is green and your messages show as sent on the person's Timeline.
