Connect your Gmail mailbox
Connect a Gmail or Google Workspace mailbox using a Google app password.

- 2-Step Verification is on for the Google account (Google needs it for app passwords).

In the menu on the left, tap Mail. On a phone, tap the ☰ menu button at the top first.

What the code looks like
Find it: myaccount.google.com/apppasswordsPaste it: Mail → Add mailbox → App password
Not this: your normal Gmail password — Google blocks normal passwords for email apps.
✅ How do I know it worked?
- The mailbox shows under Mailboxes in Email settings, and Test says it works.
⚠️ Common mistakes
