Before you start

You're the platform owner.
The BACKUP_ENCRYPTION_KEY is in your password manager.

The steps at a glance

Step 1 of 4

In the menu on the left, tap Settings. On a phone, tap the ☰ menu button at the top first.
Scroll to Backups. It explains How your backups work, in plain English.
Tap Run backup now before big changes.
Tap Download latest (encrypted). Open it only with the key and the restore guide.

Recent backups lists last night's backup with a tick.

⚠️ Common mistakes
