Set up the security watch
Choose how sensitive the security watch is, your working hours, trusted office addresses and how you're told.
Before you start
- You are the workspace owner.
The steps at a glance
1In Activity & threats, tap Settings. Make sure Security watch is on.
2Under How sensitive, tap Relaxed, Balanced or Strict. Balanced is best for most teams.
Strict gives more alerts. Relaxed gives fewer.
3Keep Pause accounts automatically on. Why: a thief is stopped at once, not hours later.
4Set Working hours and Working days. Leave them empty to learn each person's own hours.
5In Trusted office addresses, add your office's internet addresses, one per line.
Activity from them never counts as travel or account sharing.
6Under How to tell you, tick Phone and browser notifications and Email. Choose Keep the record for.
Shorter is kinder to your team's privacy. Longer helps investigations.
