Call customers on WhatsApp (beta)
Make and answer WhatsApp voice calls in your browser from your business WhatsApp number — once Meta has approved calling.
Before you start
- Your WhatsApp Business number is connected (Integrations → WhatsApp Business).
- An approved template with a call permission request button.
How it works
How it works, step by step
- You → CompanyFlowHQ: Tap WhatsApp call (in app)
- CompanyFlowHQ → Your customer: First time: asks them to allow calls
- Your customer → WhatsApp: They tap Allow
- CompanyFlowHQ → WhatsApp: Your browser calls them on WhatsApp
The steps at a glance
Step 1 of 4
In the menu on the left, tap Integrations. On a phone, tap the ☰ menu button at the top first.
On WhatsApp calling (beta), turn on Use WhatsApp calling in this workspace. If it says Coming soon, Meta hasn't approved it yet.
Choose your Call permission template and Template language, then tap Save.
Open a lead and tap WhatsApp call (in app). The first time, tap Ask for permission and wait for them to allow calls.
✅ How do I know it worked?
- You hear the call in your browser and see “On WhatsApp with …”.
⚠️ Common mistakes
Problem“This person asked not to be contacted.”FixThey opted out, so WhatsApp calls are blocked. Respect it.
