Top up your balance
Add prepaid credit by card, get bonus credit on bigger amounts, and switch on automatic top-up if you want it.
Before you start
- You're an owner or admin.
- A debit or credit card.
The steps at a glance
Step 1 of 6
In the menu on the left, tap Settings. On a phone, tap the ☰ menu button at the top first.
Under Plan & billing, tap Add-ons & prepaid credit.
Under Top up, tap an amount such as £10 or £20 — bigger amounts can include a bonus. Or type another amount in whole pounds.
Tap the Pay button. A secure Stripe page opens; after paying you come straight back and the credit is added.
Optional: tick Save my card for automatic top-ups when you pay. Then switch on Automatic top-up under Spending limits and set the amount and a monthly maximum.
Every top-up and charge is under Receipts and history. Tap Download CSV for your accountant.
✅ How do I know it worked?
- Your new balance shows under Available to spend.
⚠️ Common mistakes
Problem“Payment cancelled. Nothing was charged.”FixYou left the Stripe page before paying. Try again.
Problem“During your free trial, top up by card first.”FixFree trials can only use money added by card. Free credit starts after your trial.
ProblemAutomatic top-up says it is paused.FixYour bank wants you to confirm. Make one card top-up with Save my card for automatic top-ups ticked.
